About Veronica
I didn't begin my career in marketing.
I began by writing stories.
For years, I work behind the scenes as a ghostwriter, helping authors transform ideas into books. I watch manuscripts move from first drafts to finished publications and witness the excitement that comes with launching a book into the world.
Then I start noticing a pattern.
Many books aren't failing because they lack quality. They're struggling because authors are left alone to navigate everything that comes next.
They're expected to build a brand, create content, find readers, schedule podcast appearances, organise reviews, book speaking engagements, manage social media, grow newsletters, build communities and somehow continue writing.
Indie authors face it. Traditionally published authors face it. First-time authors face it. Everyone seems to focus on the book itself while overlooking the person behind it.
That's where I step in.
Today, I help authors navigate the journey between publishing a book and becoming a recognised brand. Whether an author is preparing for launch, in the middle of launch season, or trying to maintain momentum after publication, I help them build the systems, visibility, and relationships that allow their work to reach the right readers.
Pre-launch
Before a book enters the world, I build the foundation:
-
ARC and review campaigns
-
Reader outreach
-
Podcast and media opportunities
-
Launch planning
-
Newsletter strategy
-
Social media systems
-
Community building
-
Website and author platform optimisation
Launch
When launch day arrives, I transform excitement into momentum:
-
Launch coordination
-
Influencer outreach
-
Review management
-
Event planning
-
Book signings
-
Speaking opportunities
-
Content repurposing
-
Visibility campaigns
Post-launch
The launch is not the end of the journey. It's the beginning of a much bigger conversation:
-
Ongoing visibility strategies
-
Audience growth
-
Relationship building
-
Authority positioning
-
Long-term content strategies
-
Partnerships and collaborations
-
Reader engagement
What that looks like in practice: a debut mystery author who starts with no social platform at all, ending launch with 96 reviews, three podcast features, and two bookstore signings. A YA fantasy series where refined messaging takes a 44-review campaign into 150+ on the follow-up. A devotional that finds its way into churches and Bible camps because the right readers get their hands on it.
Because books deserve more than a publication date. They deserve a lasting place in the world. And authors deserve someone willing to guide them through the parts of the journey that everyone else overlooks.
Think of me as the ferryman who guides authors through the misty waters between publication and recognition.
